Synopsis:
A Christmas short story of 10,000 involving all the old members of the team.
DI Lorne Simpkins and her partner DS Pete Childs encounter a dangerous gang of Santas who plan on creating havoc on the streets of London on Christmas Eve.
Pete is persuaded to go undercover to foil the gang’s audacious plan.

Since when has Santa been on the naughty list? Answer: when he hit Lorne’s radar and landed on her list! Santa is being a very naughty boy and Lorne is out to get her man before Christmas!
Justice at Christmas is a short story, throwing back to the days of the Warner/Child’s partnership. Despite the brevity of the story, I loved seeing the banter and comradery between Lorne and Pete. And Pete definitely takes centre stage in this festive tale!
The story is told at a fair pace, there is a lot packed into the 30 pages/10,000 words! I read this in less than an hour so it’s something you can enjoy with a hot chocolate or festive mulled wine (not that I’m encouraging anyone to drink) and a warm mince pie.
